AILEY

Ailey is an artist based in Arizona. Her music has an organic, natural feel, similar to the food she makes (she is an experienced “healthy” chef) and the yoga classes she teaches.  You may think you know what her music sounds like by hearing that description but It Goes will surprise you. It’s a mix of trip-hop, blues, electronic and a few other styles thrown in for taste.

While Ailey's music previously had a stripped down acoustic feel, It Goes teamed her up with producer Spencer Fahlman to pair her otherworldly vocal loops and lyrics with some very chill, but modern beats. The two came up with a truly unique song that feels familiar and totally new.  The deserts of Arizona (where both Ailey and Spencer are based) definitely has an influence over the song.  If you’ve ever driven through the Sonoran desert while watching a vibrant Arizona sunset, you’ll recognize this as a perfect companion tune for drives down the quiet desert roads at twilight.

Ailey is currently working on more material as she travels the world and continues to absorb and translate her experiences into new songs.
