CLICHÉ

The music of Cliché is far from, well, a cliché. Their first single, Weapon, has elements of pop, dance and electronic but is much more intricate than most electronic hits.

Both David and Frederique studied jazz music at University in Quebec and after singing together a few times noticed how well their voices blended together and decided to start recording together.  They have both been singing since they were kids and possess both the talent and musical knowledge to create rich, layered vocals and some gorgeous harmonies.  When you listen to Weapon you'll hear the track's mix of jazz, disco and electronic dance music but what really sticks out is those voices! David and Frederique's sound is both complex and familiar and it separates Cliché from all of the other predictable, repetitive electronic pop out there.

Frederique has said "We create what we want to create; so that it means something real for us. If it please and touches other people, that's golden points!" Take a listen below and see what you think.
